Sighiskor - Medieval Village

This is perhaps the biggest project that I've ever worked on and the one that I must learned. Together with other four talented super environment artists, Thiago Klafke mentored us to extract the best of us all. Here I learned how to make a totally original environment and give my imagination the ability to fly.

For this project I took references from games, books, films and history itself and in the end came Sighiskor, a mysterious medieval village that every visitor never left the place. The villagers has an eerie look and the castle has a strange connection with the skies. Every single visitor that enters the village, never come out, the villagers know what happen to them, but do you know?

This was an amazing opportunity to learn about physical lighting workflow in Unreal Engine 4, modeling and building an entire vegetation from the ground up, building efficient trim sheets, dealing with modular kits and the best learning opportunity is that you will always have space to learn!

I want to thank so much Thiago Klafke for this amazing opportunity to learn from one of the best guys in the industry. I also thanks for João Neto, Victor Ullman and Fernando Quinn whose feedbacks were all valuable and helped me always reach the next step.

Wanna play in this environment? Check out the demo that I made for this :)
