Hello guys!
I wanted to showcase some of my latest studies in Houdini and Unreal Engine. I wanted to make a simple yet atmospheric scene with a very scary transition, reminding me some of my favorite games like Silent Hill. For this I created a special pipe tool with flexibility to control shape, radius, connections positions and shapes, even the amount of bolts you to control.
In Unreal Engine I also showcase tailored shaders for this project where we can control amount of dirt, rust, procedural peeling and triplanar projection.
This is the first of a few projects where I will showcase my skills with tech environment art, so keep posted and soon there will be more :)
Special thanks to my friends Matheus Bignon and Jean Negreiros for helping me troubleshooting some issues with the tool and Unreal Engine!

Breakdown of the plaster shader. I added options for triplanar projection mask, procedural peeling and a gradient to control the painting on the wall
In the rust shader we can choose how we want the rust to spread, through a procedural mask, a top to bottom mask or AO vertex paint generated in Houdini.
A bit of the pipe tool and how much control you have with the tool
